Few dimension stone finishing plants have the equipment necessary to reduce quarry blocks to slabs. For those plants we offer diamond belt sawn slabs produced in our own slab mill. These sawed-two-side slabs are typically 4'6" to 9'0" in length by 3'0" to 4'6" wide, and cut to the customer's required thickness.

Slabs sawn 2" thick or greater are measured and priced per net cubic foot according to grade of stone. Slabs sawn less than 2" in thickness and down to 3/4" are measured and priced per net square foot according to grade. Slabs may be ordered "net" (cut to the ordered dimension), or "full", in which an extra 1/8" to 1/4" may be left on the slab to allow for planer surfacing.
